Overview

Orb of Annulment is a currency item in Path of Exile (PoE). It can be used to remove a single random modifier from an item that has six or more modifiers. It is most often used by players to make their desired items by removing unwanted modifiers.

Obtain

Orb of Annulment can be obtained from NPC vendors, by trading with other players, or by completing certain in-game activities. It can also be obtained from certain quest rewards, as well as from Zana missions.

Spend

To use Orb of Annulment, right-click on the item you wish to modify, then select “Use Orb of Annulment” from the menu. This will remove one random modifier from the item, leaving it with five or fewer modifiers. The removed modifier is permanently lost, but the remaining modifiers can be rerolled with other currency items.
